Dr. M.S Habib holds M.Sc (Hons.) Ph.D (UK) ARIC & FRIC (UK). His post-doctoral research
experience includes Research Fellow of the University of London, UK and the University of Michigan, USA.
Dr. Habib has attended many conferences on Chemistry in France, Japan, USA and former Yugoslavia.
Dr. Habib is the Life Chairperson of Salim Habib University and also the Founder Chairman of
Barrett Hodgson Pakistan (Pvt) Limited, Karachi, Pharamceutical Company and The Salim Habib Education Foundation.
Dr. Habib started his professional career as Chief Analyst in Wellcome Pakistan Ltd.
He rose to the position of Chairman and Managing Director. Subsequent to merger,
he was appointed as Deputy Chairman of Glaxo Wellcome Pakistan Limited.
He is a philanthropist and involved in activities contributing to the development of quality education in Pakistan.
